The King Cole Trio is Nat King Cole's first studio album.

He recorded the album along with the other members of the Nat King Cole Trio, Oscar Moore and Wesley Prince. Like all of Cole's studio albums, the album was released under Capitol Records and were in a 78 r.p.m. format. There were three other volumes of this series of albums released by Capitol. The album was released in 1950 along with the three volumes of the series.
